Petter Northug is the complete Nordic skier, with the best equipment available.

This Saturday, Northug won convicingly at the 30 km FIS World Cup in Davos, Switzerland. For the first time in the world cup, Northug used one of this year's biggest innovations in the sport, a spacer that increases the height of the binding, thus also increasing the amount of power transmitted from the skier to the skis. Northug beat French Maurice Manificat by 51.4 seconds and Czech Lukas Bauer by 59,5 seconds.
