Ready for racing in Ruhpolding

29.02.12
March 2. marks the start of the World Biathlon Championships in the German town Ruhpolding. With more than 210,000 tickets sold before the start of the event, the championships promises to be one of great atmosphere and spectacular sporting performances.

Several of the top athletes race on Rottefella bindings, and we will pay special attention to favorites Martin Fourcade from France and German Magdalena Neuner. Both are contenders for gold medals and both lead the IBU World Cup so far this season. In addition, we will cheer a little extra for Carl Johan Bergman and Helena Ekholm from Sweden, Andrei Makoveev and Olga Zaitseva from Russia, German Andreas Birnbacher and French Marie Laure Brunet. The championships runs through March 11, and we wish all the athletes a great event.
